My name is Risa Stein and I am mom to a neurodivergent son and I’m also a child and health psychologist. I fully appreciate the challenges inherent in raising, serving, and working with vulnerable kids. My parenting experiences combined with my background in psychology prompted me to address glaring pain points I experienced and observed – multiple care systems operating with neglect of individual differences, anxious disempowered families, and a resulting lack of truly person-centered care in clinics, schools, and workplaces. That’s why I created SeeInMe, a digital platform intended to ensure those who love, serve, and work with individuals with vulnerabilities can advocate for and relate to them on a personal level. My guiding philosophy is that every person deserves to be seen as the unique individual they are.
