My 11 Year Old Talks About Life On Lockdown (feat. Emmett Gorski) S3E10

In this weeks (albeit late) episode, I talk about life on lockdown and what it’s like to manage this COVID19 health crisis as a single Dad to 3 Autistic kids. Gavin, (my oldest) is immunocompromised and I have to walk a very, very fine line in order to keep him safe. It’s not easy by any stretch of the imagination but we’re muddling through. Later in the episode, Emmett, my 11 year old, joins me to discuss how this whole lockdown is impacting him. He does an amazing job of expressing his thought on our current situation. He was very fidgety, and that fidgeting was picked up by the microphone. I cleaned it up as best I could and I’m excited for you to hear Emmett’s point of view on this. 🙂 I wanted to provide you with a list of reliable sources for information regarding COVID19. Facts, science medicine and accurate, truthful information matter now more than ever. These are some of the people and medical facilities that I trust and rely on for information about this pandemic. Please give them a follow. Dr. Tara C. Smith Professor, infectious disease epidemiologist
